Green Schools Committee
We now have a Green Schools Committee in our school. We have Cáragh, Sarah, Ronan and Alex as our permanent members. We also have Willow, Noah, Jack and Rebecca from Mrs Millen’s class; Charlie, Leon, Éabha and Kenzie from Mrs Keller’s class and Aifric, Zahra Mae, Cole and Dylan from Mrs Durnin’s class. We are hoping that all the children from 1st class will get a chance to be part of the team, by the end of the year.
We had meeetings with Mrs Dorian and Ms Mc Carthy to talk about what we will be doing and to put some ideas together to make our school green.
We have started with recycling and there is now a paper bin in every classroom. Today we emptied all the bins for Paul, our caretaker.
We have lots more exciting ideas to make our school green!
